<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='484385' first='Danica' last='Sarchione'] </strong>- OH | Marlington<br>Sarchione now has over 800 career kills for the Dukes as she has been putting up big numbers this season with a career best 379 total kills and 4.4 k/s average. She is an athletic and fluid pin that can generate some good movement and pace with her arm. Several times at 20 kills or more this season, she can score at a high rate, in addition to the team high effort she provides defensively at 10.2 d/m. Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='805559' first='Giana' last='Bogunovich']</strong> contributes well at the net also with 3.0 k/s while adding 7.5 d/m of her own. The Dukes 23-2 overall and unbeaten in Northeastern [program_tooltip program_id='431739' first='Buckeye' last=''] play, will face the Beaumont School (8-17 overall) who upset Firelands 3-1 to get to the regional semifinal round.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='809473' first='Addison' last='Edgington']</strong> - MH | Circleville<br>Edgington is a physical force at the net for Circleville. At 6'2 with long range and a big left arm swing. She is tough hitter to slow down by opposing defenses. She can terminate with good authority both at the right pin and through quicker options around her setter. Her athleticism also allows her to make good adjustments in the air to swing through the full scope of the court with good accuracy. At 4.2 k/s, she terminates at a 51% kill rate and .362 efficiency, both team highs. The Tigers, 19-6 overall, will face London (15-9) in Region 15 semifinal action.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='474086' first='Kelsie' last='Smith']</strong> - S | River View<br>Smith (*pictured) has 850 total assists this season, good for a 10.4 a/s average. Recently getting ahead of 2,400 total career assists, she has been guiding this offense for three consecutive seasons as the primary setter, with 2025 being their best round of teams results over that span. That Black Bears are 21-4 overall with Smith's impact being the best of her career in guiding an offense that averages nearly 13 kills per set as a team. Their top arm is senior<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='502155' first='Haley' last='Balo'] </strong>who puts down 5.2 k/s this season with a total of 1,440 career kills. Smith is a skilled setter with tools to get her hitters into good situations anywhere on the court. Defensively, she adds 11.9 d/m, good for second on the team. River View squares off against Meadowbrook (23-2) on Thursday.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='806849' first='Myley' last='Sandwisch']</strong> - RS/S | Oak Harbor<br>This is a prospect that does it all for her team. Sandwisch has good all-around skills and contributes in a variety of ways for the Rockets (21-4 overall). With good balance across their three primary arms, including Sandwisch, she helps distribute half the offense at 5.4 a/s. Averaging 3.0 k/s, she provides a good punch from the right side of the court to help create good action at both pins alongside other key offensive pieces in seniors <strong>Taylor Baumgartner</strong> (3.4 k/s) and <strong>Alayna Hall</strong> (3.2 k/s). Her 11.3 digs per match are second best on the team behind senior libero <strong>Ava Lynch</strong> at 17.6 d/m. Oak Harbor will play Lakeview on Wednesday.</p>

<p><strong>Allison Orzech </strong>- OH | Holy Name<br>Orzech has continued her impact from the 2024 season as she recently surpassed her total offensive output from last season, now boasting a career best 3.0 k/s average. Second on the team offensively for the Green Wave, Orzech has had two consecutive matches reaching her best numbers with 18 and 19 kills respectively in wins over West Branch and Edgewood. Holy Name is 10-13 overall and will rely a lot on Orzech and senior teammate <strong>Jenevieve Afrates</strong>, who leads the team at 3.6 k/s, as they will next face the Perry Pirates (19-5 overall). Orzech is also a team leader defensively at 10.6 d/m.</p>
