Kelsie Smith showcased a strong feel for offensive sequencing and match flow. Smith ran a quick and efficient offense for the M.61 team on the way to the undefeated 16 National championship. Smith makes great adjustments with her feet. She hits sound jump sets to targets and can mix in nice sets to the back row. Smith said doing your best on each play is the key to overcoming the ups and downs of a game.

In the 3 set district semi-final match, Kelsie dished out 32 assists, recorded 8 digs, 4 blocks and had 2 aces.

In the 5 set district final match, Kelsie had 42 assists, 11 digs, 9 kills and 5 aces.
This helped the team win back to back district championships.

She has over 725 assists for the season, averaging 10.2 per set.
For her high school career she now has over 1,500 assists with an avg. of 9.6 asst./set

Smith arrived on our radar over the club season as she shared the setting role for her Mintonette team that competed well all season.
