About Addie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a outside hitter—aggressive at the net, dependable in the back row, and always ready for the next play reading the setter and hitters. I thrive on high-pressure moments and bring energy that elevates the whole team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m super competitive and love working hard for my goals. I stay locked in during games, lifts and practices, hype up my teammates, and always give 100%, no matter what. I’m the kind of player who wants and is calling for the ball when it matters most or at any time.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am part of the ETS performance fam in Mankato, Minnesota. I got a passing score on my final test for AP HUG my sophomore year earning college credit.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing volleyball for over a decade has helped me grow as a leader and teammate. It has made me such a positive and happy person. I’ve learned how to communicate clearly, stay positive and work well under pressure, and support others on and off the court. Whether it’s in warmups, cheering from the sidelines, I always have energy and responsibility to everything I do.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Just in the last year my whole life changed significantly and very soon I have to go read my victim impact statement in front of my biological dad, testifying against him. He used to support me in everything I did and used to be my best friend, especially in the terms of volleyball. I did not let this take over my life but I just worked harder to prove I can still reach my goals/stay strong.

What type of college are you looking for?

Competitive volleyball team, good coaching, Pushes athletes to grow and succeed both on and off the court. I’m looking for a college that offers a good program in my field of interest and supports student-athletes academically. I value being part of a close-knit, supportive team where hard work, respect, and communication is so important. I view my team as family, we can all only exceed together.
