Audra Wilmes Audra Wilmes 6'2" | OH West Linn | 2021 State OR , 6’2″, OH, West Linn High School, North Pacific Juniors
Wilmes, a standout her freshman year at Canby High School, being awarded Three Rivers Second Team All-League, did not let a new school stop her from doing her thing. After transferring to West Linn High School for her sophomore season, she helped the Lions finish third at the State tournament in 2019. That season she was awarded Three Rivers First Team All-League. During her 16U club season, she played for North Pacific Juniors and was given the opportunity to play for their 18-1 National team which finished first in the region. This past high school season, Wilmes, playing all six rotations, helped them secure a fifth-place State finish in 2019 and was awarded Three Rivers First Team All-League as well as Second Team All-State for the tournament. She is currently playing outside for North Pacific Juniors on their 18-1 National team. Coming into her senior season for West Linn, it will be exciting to watch her dominate one last time, before heading to the University of Washington, where she is sure to make an impact.
Emily Bourne Emily Bourne 6'0" | OH Santiam Christian | 2021 State OR , 6’0″, OH/RS, Santiam Christian High School, North Pacific Juniors
Bourne had another standout season for the Eagles, the top 3A program in the state, winning eight state titles since 2009. The Eagles were the only OSAA program to go unbeaten, a feat in large part due to Bourne. In the championship match, she had 20 kills and 12 digs and was awarded Player of the Match and First Team All-Tournament. During her sophomore season, she was awarded Mountain Valley First Team All-League as well as Player of the Year. With her big arm, she has the ability to play any position across the front row and dominate at it. She is currently playing for North Pacific Juniors on their 18-1 National team. Coming into her senior season for Santiam Christian, it will be exciting to watch her commanding presence on the court one last time, before heading to Oregon State University, where she is sure to make a difference.
Alison Buchholz Alison Buchholz 5'7" | S Jesuit | 2021 State OR , 5’7″, S, Jesuit High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy
Buchholz, a three-year starting setter for the Jesuit High School Crusaders, has helped them win two 6A State titles. For the Crusaders, Buchholz has accumulated 1,523 assists running both a 5-1 and 6-2. As a sophomore, she was awarded Metro Second Team All-League and this past season she was awarded Metro First Team All-League as well as Second Team All-State for the 6A tournament. She is currently running a 5-1 as the only setter for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy 18-1 National team, one of three juniors on the team. Coming into her senior season for Jesuit, it will be exciting to watch her dominate one last time. She is currently uncommitted to a school for 2021 but whatever school she chooses is lucky to have her.
Adia Messenger Adia Messenger 5'10" | S Reynolds | 2021 State OR , 5’10″, S, Reynolds High School, Portland Volleyball Club
Messenger, a three-year Varsity starter for Reynolds High School, is a competitive and versatile athlete. She was awarded Mt. Hood Second Team All-League as a sophomore and Mt. Hood First Team All-League this past season. Given her 5’10” stature and powerful arm swing she hits as well as sets, though usually on the right side, and tried her hand at the middle during the high school season. This past season she was averaging 23.2 assists, 12.2 digs, 2.3 aces, and 5.5 kills per match. This season, under new head coach Nerisa Laban, she helped the Raiders take a set off of powerhouse team Central Catholic High School. She is currently setting for Portland Volleyball Club’s 18-1 National team. As she returns to Reynolds for her senior season, it will be exciting to watch her dominate one last time. She has committed to play for Eastern Washington University, where she is sure to be an impact player.
Clarissa Klein Clarissa Klein 6'1" | OH Wilsonville | 2021 State OR , 6’1″, OH/RS, Wilsonville High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy
Klein, a two-year Varsity starter for Wilsonville High School, uses her 6’1” stature as a pin hitter to her advantage. She racked up 278 kills, hitting a .333, as well as 34 total blocks last season. Not only can she offensively play well, but in the back row, she uses her athleticism to keep her team in system, totaling 154 digs. Often not seen in high school level play, Klein has a lethal topspin jump serve which helped her accrue 66 aces, a 23.7% ace percentage. She was awarded Northwest First Team All-League and Second Team All-State for the 5A tournament. She is currently playing for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy18-1 National team, one of three juniors on the team. As she comes into her senior season for Wilsonville, she will be able to create an impact once again. She is currently uncommitted to a school for 2021 but wherever she ends up she is sure to dominate.
