Jada made a strong impact at the San Mateo tournament through consistent offensive production and disciplined defensive work at the net. A highlight moment came with a single-handed block against DVC 15-1s that helped shift momentum, while across the weekend she totaled 20 kills and six blocks, showing growth in timing and net presence. Coaching feedback has guided her next phase of development, with a focus on squaring her hips when attacking for better balance and efficiency, and improving her blocking fundamentals by sealing the net and pressing her outside arm over. Off the court, Jada is proud of her team’s 6–1 record and her commitment to academics, often studying in the car and completing homework right after school to stay ahead.

Jada will compete next at League Qualifiers at Cal Expo on January 24–25.

Jada impressed with her work ethic and strong attitude. She communicated well as a hitter, stayed disciplined at the net, and provided a solid blocking presence. Her effort level never dipped, and she remained engaged on every play.

At 5’7”, Dunham is considered to be an undersized middle, however, she doesn’t play like it. She has the determination, strength, and desire to go up against 6’0”+ middles and will not back down. Dunham showcased tremendous grit and a strong desire to compete as she consistently took big swings on the day and didn’t shy away from the defense. She used her speed and solid vertical to be an effective presence at the net.
