Class of 2029 Watch List: Setters to Watch

Use code GrahamPD25 to register</em>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Thus far, 17 setters grace the 2029 Watch List, but that's sure to grow with graduations of setters ahead of some. Swain consistently puts up precise sets getting a number of hitters involved and records a number of dimes on first touches. She'll continue to refine those skills during club season. Swain also takes sound swings from the opposite hitter spot. However, players like Smith give the Cardinals hope for the future. Smith made good sets when the Cardinals were in system. She is also learning ways to control the net. Smith takes strong swings from the back row giving the Cardinals an option there. Ingram got some varsity experience there this fall. Ingram has a tough jump serve and has great reflexes on the court to keep plays alive. She has a good platform and mixes up her sets including a sound back set. Dailing adds in a deceptive setter dump and makes sound first contacts.
