Exposure Tour Houston: G’s Elite Liberos

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prep Dig Exposure Tour made it to Houston this past weekend, with over 70 prospects from the 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029 classes spending a couple of memorable hours with us at Competitive Edge Sports Complex, the home of popular club [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'], in Spring, on Sunday morning.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It was a great opportunity for us, Prep Dig scouts, to get to know up-and-coming players in the region while also tracking the progress of others we were already familiar with. She was on fire since the very first drills of our showcase, showing impressive agility on the back and energy to play defense. Using her solid ball control, she was very determined to keep the ball off the floor, displaying the mentality we see in elite liberos. Her ability to move quickly and efficiently in the back row was one of the first things that stood out in her game, as she used her strong lower body to cover a lot of ground and touch on many balls. Coker also demonstrated great technique when making contact with the ball, making accurate deliveries. She was a standout in our freshman showcase in the summer and did it again on Sunday, showing improvements in what already was a very solid defensive game. Pham has stellar technical skills and is very confident and efficient in serve-receive, covering a large area of the court and quickly moving to the ball to pass it with incredible precision. She also communicates very well, leaving no questions in terms of who should be on the ball. She's earned a reputation as one of the most promising defensive players in the Houston area over the last couple of years and lived up to it during our event, standing out as one of the top liberos in the gym. Combining excellent technical skills and an impressive work rate, Fejeran was very active and efficient when playing defense, doing a great job of keeping the ball off the floor. I believe it was her first time joining one of our events in Houston and she managed to stand out in what was a strong group of liberos by showing great initiative and superior skills on the back row. Cromwell was very good at reading plays and stepped up to the responsibilities of her role as a libero, making sure she would be in charge of the first contact whenever possible. She also did well with her deliveries, displaying solid ball-control skills to deal with tough serves and hard-driven swings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
