The 300 Dig Club: Freshmen Defensive Stalwarts

Some teams do not post public stats. I also exclude athletes for whom I can't find heights, and the cutoff point was 300 total digs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='846603' first='Presley' last='Peterson']</strong>, 5'3”, DS/L, Bishop Seabury Academy, '29</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Peterson unofficially led all freshman setters in digs with 511 in 94 sets played for the Seahawks. She is ranked No. 26 overall in the Kansas Class of 2029.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='753564' first='Sabri' last='Rohr']</strong>, 5'6”, OH/DS, Hill City, ‘29</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rohr finished her freshman season with 417 digs in 70 sets played for the Ringnecks. She is currently ranked No. 52 overall by Prep Dig Kansas.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='719106' first='Delaney' last='Duerksen']</strong>, 5'6”, OH/DS, Goessel, ‘29</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Goessel's Duerksen is ranked No. 39 overall by Prep Dig Kansas. She recorded 346 digs to finish among the state leaders. She finished with 336 digs and 185 kills during her freshman campaign. She recorded 307 digs and 110 kills during her first prep season.
