In today's recruiting environment, social media has become part of how athletes are evaluated. Not because of views or trends, but because it offers insight into how a player understands her game, what moments she chooses to highlight, and whether her posts reflect consistency, growth, and competitive intent. I've been working really hard on this skill for the past few months by working out to get stronger and getting as many reps possible. I'm proud of this because it has been a goal of mine to do this well, and now that I've achieved it, I want to make it even better. I've missed out on so many parties and hangouts for volleyball because I am determined to get to the place I want to be, and I won't stop now. Building connections with new hitters takes time, but I've worked hard to learn everyone's tendencies and create rhythm and trust on the court.   What makes me stand out is my ability to read the game, whether that is seeing the block, recognizing matchups, and making fast decisions that put my hitters in the best position to score. I also take pride in my consistency, communication, and leadership on the court. Whether it's controlling the tempo, keeping everyone calm in tight moments, or bringing energy when we need a spark, I try to be the player my teammates can depend on every point, no matter how things are going. </blockquote>   📲 Why This Post Mattered   <blockquote class="wp-block-quote"> Being featured on PrepDig has always meant a lot to me. It is a reminder that the work I put into my training and development is paying off, especially this year with a new team and new system to learn. It feels good to see my growth recognized at a high level.   Social media has really helped my recruiting journey by giving coaches a real look at how I play, how I lead, and how I'm progressing. I try to make sure that whatever I share online is what a coach would see in person if they came to watch me. It lets me share important moments, but also share the work that goes into those moments and the consistency of the work I put in. I create posts to celebrate what happens on the court, but also to show gratitude to my teammates, coaches, and family who support me every day. </blockquote>   🧠 What Coaches Should Know   <blockquote class="wp-block-quote"> On the court, I want coaches to know that I'm a competitive and coachable setter who values communication, connection, and running a disciplined offense. I take pride in staying cool under pressure and making the players around me better. No matter the situation, I'm committed to giving full effort and being someone my team can rely on.   Off the court and in school, I'm a hardworking and responsible student who takes my academics seriously. I understand that being part of a college program means succeeding both athletically and academically, and I'm committed to doing both at a high level. Outside of volleyball and school, I love spending time with my family and friends. Energy is also very important to me. I always aim to uplift my teammates no matter the circumstances, and I love celebrating their successes. Through social media, I have been able to connect with so many other athletes who have become some of my best friends. On the University Athlete website, I also found that I received some evaluations from D1 college recruiters through online views. Overall, I enjoy posting on social media, and it has brought me so many blessings. I also connected to the VKTRY Insoles brand through Instagram, and I'm so grateful to work with them. </blockquote>   🧠 What Coaches Should Know   <blockquote class="wp-block-quote"> I want college coaches to know how competitive I am on and off the court. When I don't have practice, I always schedule extra training and workout days. In the classroom, I take honors classes, online college classes, and I use time management skills to uphold my 4.33 GPA. I am also working towards earning my associate degree before graduating high school. In my free time, I read a lot.
