Five Middle Schoolers that soared in the LO 13/14 Title game

However, having success at young ages can give them confidence that the extra workouts outside of practice can pay off.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The [program_tooltip program_id='510734' first='Lexington' last='United'] 14 Elite team met the Alpha Performance A.41 squad in the 13/14 championship game of the Lexington Open on Sunday in a memorable battle. LUV 14 Elite came away with a 2-1 (25-21, 22-25, 15-10) victory in what could be the first of many battles between the two. She can run quicks and record sound back sets. Lowery is a nice six-rotation player. She does a good job communicating with her teammates and sends free balls across the net with a purpose. Bender has a good eye for balls on defense and takes solid rips on offense. She can hit off blocks and has a nice spinning serve. She gets a number of hands on balls and is a pure passer. Abrams puts nice arc on her sets, running solid ones and other sets. Abrams displayed sound first touches in the entire championship match. She makes plays from both the middle and the pins. Brittingham takes solid out of system rips. She finished the match with a shoot.
