Paige uses a repeatable slow-to-fast approach, gathering early before accelerating into the final steps. That progression creates momentum that transfers upward and ultimately into the swing. Once airborne, Paige produces a topspin-style contact that gives the ball both pace and downward action. But one particular developing skill deserves additional attention. Paige is working the 4-to-4/5 seam, a demanding location that requires far more than simply turning and hitting the ball somewhere between defenders. Successfully attacking that corridor calls for approach control, vision, contact discipline, and an understanding of where the defensive gap is forming. For a player her age, even showing the concentrated effort to repeatedly access that area is noteworthy. The next stage will be expanding the consistency and eventually pairing that seam attack with additional solutions. Paige already has an offensive concept worth developing. Ashton Paige Ashton Paige 5'10" | OH/RS Tampa Prep | 2030 State FL continues to show promising growth as an attacker. Her approach is smooth and repeatable, building from slow to fast with rhythm. That tempo allows her to generate the power needed to produce heavy topspin swings. What really stood out was her ability to attack 4 to 4-5 seam with intent. An advanced shot for an athlete her age. As she continues to refine that skill and expand her offensive toolbox, Page has the potential to become an even more difficult hitter for opposing defenses to contain.

Miss Paige is a class of 2030 left side and right side from Tampa Preparatory School and Orlando Tampa Volleyball Academy.  Although she is one of the youngest players in this showcase series, she may be one of the most physically compelling prospects to earn Top Performer recognition at this event. Standing at 5’9″ with years of physical development ahead of her, the tools she already brings to both pins are advanced enough that age becomes irrelevant when you are actually watching her compete. This young lady attacks with a confidence and physicality that simply does not match the class year on her profile.  She has a naturally strong frame and uses her explosive fast-twitch muscles to move around the court and off of the ground super fast.  I loved meeting her and her dad during the event and will definitely be speaking with our lead scout in Florida about her play.  Ashton Paige Ashton Paige 5'10" | OH/RS Tampa Prep | 2030 State FL is someone who we will all be watching closely to see how she progresses over the next four years.  I strongly recommend you all write her name down also.  Please help me congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
