Rest assured, these five have specific traits that make them stand out more than others, and should be paid attention to a little more because of them. Here they are, in no particular order.

A true pin attacker among a bunch of “outsides”, Miss Evans is able to hit any and all angles at a high attack point for both her high school squad and her club squad. I'm still looking for a little more leg drive in her approach, but that will come with time and training. For now, expect to see this young lady terminate from anywhere and everywhere, taking advantage of her long arms and high attack point.

Yes, Ellie is more of a defender for her current club squad. That being said, WHEN she gets a chance to swing, and she WILL swing, it's a hammer. Not too many kids this size have as strong of a shoulder as she, and that high volleyball IQ in multiple positions leads me to believe that she'll be seeing more recruiting attention because of her multi-positional abilities.

Of the five on this list, none have a higher attack touch than Natalie. That jumping ability, combined with an innate ability to terminate, makes Miss Akosa a must-see on the pin, and looks every part of the three-rotation athLETE that is very much part of the D1 offensive rotation. To know that this young lady is only going to get better, stronger and jump higher, it's scary to see where Natalie's ceiling might end up.

Undersized but certainly overachieving, Riley's been buried on the depth chart at Penn due to the program's depth in all positions. That being said, her six-rotation ability as a primary passing outside hitter for any program will serve her well moving forward. On the attack, her high-and-hard mentality abuses blocks, and that heavy ball she can hit gives floor defenders fits regularly.

With length to burn and a highly envious attack touch, Makenzie is one of the bigger and better pin attackers to come out of New Prairie and Dunes in quite some time. As a pure attacker, she can ruin dreams blockers might have, and make floor defenders sore trying to dig her. When blocking, her penetration is already above-average for her age and class, and is tough to go against on either pin. I like this kid a lot, and the sky's her limit.
