Under The Radar Setters From The Class Of 2029

They accept all of the responsibility, take all of the blame for others' errors, and very rarely have an opportunity to “show off” their skill set in the form of scoring points and making a difference. However, this author knows how to find the “diamond in the rough”, so to speak. While most 1s-level setters try to add a little flash and flare to their game, Miss Rahmany is as steady as she goes, and does her job with reliability and consistency. I see her future as part of a 6-2, and her training at Academy has really brought out the best in her. She's under the radar for being at a school not known for their volleyball, so her coming out party has really shown during her club season. She receives the ball with high, athletic hands, locates the ball in tempo well and can get to any tight pass the bigger setters can. I also like how her footwork is well-trained, so much so that her getting to every ball looks second-nature. More setter than attacker, Karigan has athleticism to get to every ball well, and the hands to make sure each and every set is hittable. As an attacker, she knows how to hit smart shots and minimizes errors in doing so.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
