This year's edition of the international clash was truly one for the books.

The Midwest teams in attendance, once again, showed up, showed out and dominated. The 15 Open Division saw a mix of some of the top 15s in the field as well as few mighty 14s teams looking to take on the older kids. Circle City's 14-1s actually won the entire tournament, taking down some very formidable foes along the way.

Let's break it all down of who all shined the brightest. There are plenty of names to discuss, be sure to check out these athletes!

[player_tooltip player_id='885467' first='Adeline' last='Peterson'] - Legacy

[player_tooltip player_id='885467' first='Adeline' last='Peterson'] is going to be a name we chat about for time and time again. At 6'2, this outside hitter is finding her groove and reaching new heights, no pun intended. She's can electric attacker, when at her peak, can easily tower over opposing defenses.

Ella Teatsworth - Legacy

It is really fun when you see a player grow over a period of time. From seeing Ella Teatsworth now, compared to last fall, she is a whole new player. Teatsworth is operating at a whole other level with a very demanding offensive presence. She's showcasing a strong slide attack and can follow it up with big touches at the net with her block.

Delaney Buchanan - Legacy

This is a newer prospect on my radar, but boy, will I be taking further viewings of this show that Delaney Buchanan puts on. She is everything you want in a setter, she runs the show like a pro. I was really enjoying her set distribution and ball movement around the court as well as her service pressure. Buchanan has one of the nastiest float serves in the field that just drops out of the sky.

[player_tooltip player_id='779129' first='Hailey' last='Hutcheison'] - TVC

From one setter to another, [player_tooltip player_id='779129' first='Hailey' last='Hutcheison'] was all that she was advertised to be. TVC is extremely fortunate to have a player like this one. Her maturity at this age, in this position, only means big things are to come from this program. She plays the game quite similarly to recent TVC standout, Hayden Rodriguez, and if you know, you know... That is some high praise.

[player_tooltip player_id='785801' first='Isla' last='Dishong'] - TVC

One of Hutcheison's favorite weapons to detonate on her opponents is that of [player_tooltip player_id='785801' first='Isla' last='Dishong'] in the middle. This is a middle blocker that is showcasing quite the potential. She had some big swings throughout the weekend followed up by some clutch block work at the net. This is another player I can see developing into an elite level middle for TVC.

[player_tooltip player_id='779026' first='Annabelle' last='Pierce'] - TVC Oppo

This another one of TVC's go to options and [player_tooltip player_id='779026' first='Annabelle' last='Pierce'] can bring down the hammer at the net. While you mostly can find her from the right pin, Pierce made it known that she can crack down a ball or two from all around the court. I was a big fan of her ability to get her feet to the ball on some pretty ambitious sets and make work with her opportunities.

[player_tooltip player_id='740425' first='Stella' last='Welch'] - [program_tooltip program_id='936186' first='CVC' last='']

A setter that had come onto my radar late in the fall and that I got to see in action back in Orlando at the Sunshine Qualifier, [player_tooltip player_id='740425' first='Stella' last='Welch']e is priming up to be a very nice prospect in this position. This is a very athletic and offensive minded setter, that just with her presence along can throw off some tough blocking schemes to allow her hitters in big attack windows. I like seeing her tighten up on her location while still maintaining her fast-paced tempo.

[player_tooltip player_id='850401' first='Avery' last='Geer'] - Michigan Elite

Another ambitious setter that I love to see take to the courts is [player_tooltip player_id='850401' first='Avery' last='Geer']. This is another one of those relentless setters that can get you in a multitude of ways. From her scrappy defense to how she runs the court, Geer can also be seen taking rips of her own via her hefty south paw.

[player_tooltip player_id='776389' first='Taylor' last='Rivers'] - Michigan Elite

While this team was down a pin attacker, it only seemed to be a good thing for [player_tooltip player_id='776389' first='Taylor' last='Rivers'] as this may have been the best that we've seen her all year. From her first contact to her third, Rivers was looking much cleaner and consistent then we have seen. She's taking more advantageous rips at the ball that worked really well in her favor.

[player_tooltip player_id='774460' first='Harper' last='Dallaire'] - Michigan Elite

This is going to be a middle blocker that will be making some serious waves over the next year or so. [player_tooltip player_id='774460' first='Harper' last='Dallaire'] continues to be a driving force to her 15 Mizuno team. Whether it is from her offensive pop or to her domineering block, Dallaire can often times go on runs of owning the net. The more Mizuno can find their middles like Dallaire and Ignash, the higher their success rate is.
