When an attack missed its mark, there was no visible frustration. She reset. Prepared. Went again.
The accountability she displayed between points mirrored the way she described herself.
I would describe myself as hardworking, coachable, and determined.
The oldest of seven children from Laie, Hawaiʻi, Saini balances volleyball alongside soccer, track, and flag football.
Yet volleyball remains her favorite.
I love the competition, teamwork, and opportunities to learn and grow as an athlete.
Her goals extend beyond personal success.
My goal is to continue developing as a student-athlete, represent Hawaiʻi, my hometown, and my family with pride, and one day earn the opportunity to play volleyball at the collegiate level.
Every rally seemed connected to that purpose.
