About Alicia
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would like to describe my game-play style as scrappy but yet consistent. Being able to read the ball before it comes to you is one of the most satisfying things. Be ready for anything anywhere. Also, attitudes need to be confident and positive. Environment we play in relates to the win or loss.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have a very fun, active, and confident personality. I did not always have confidence but volleyball over time has taught me to keep it and believe in what you do for it to happen.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Yes! I am currently involved in the National Junior Honors Program along with being a representative of my grade for my school. I also receive the honor roll award yearly for each quarter. Keeping a balance of school and volleyball is one of the most rewarding things.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Some skills developed our confidence open mindedness and teamwork. With working with new girls every year it is important to have an open mind and be able to adjust a different things. Also being able to be confident in myself when anyone is down helps the game and the girls a lot. I am incredibly grateful for these skills that can be used on and off the court.
