Abby Miller is a small town product from Western Wisconsin who plays her club ball in St. Paul, Minnesota for Kokoro. She is committed to St. Thomas University in St. Paul. I was able to see Miller play live for the first time at the Wisconsin state tournament where her Barron High School team took home the D3 state championship. Miller has a soft platform, it looks so natural and easy for her to provide a clean first contact. I was able to see this Kokoro team at the Winter Classic in Milwaukee and there is some firepower among this lineup that can be led in the backrow by Miller.

Abby exploded onto my radar with her performance at state this past fall. She is a player who steps up in big moments and a natural leader on the court. Abby rarely makes the same mistake twice. Her speed sets her apart and is a huge asset to her game. Abby is a consistent force and plays very well under pressure. Her strong mental game and consistent physical play complement each other to make her a powerhouse libero in the back row.

is coming off a monster high school season where she was the libero for Barron High School who won a D3 state title in Wisconsin. Seeing her play live in the state championship match was exciting where she clearly stood out. She covers plenty of range in serve receive and on defense while still being incredibly controlled. Her footwork is efficient and is able to pick up plenty of chaotic second balls. She is playing for Kokoro out of St. Paul, Minnesota.

Abby was nearly unstoppable in the back row. Nothing got past her. She seemed to be everywhere at once. Her block coverage was next level and she never seemed to get tired in the intense rallies. Her endurance, fundamentals, and discipline set her apart, and she was one of the best defenders in any division at the state tournament.
