Devers did everything she could trying to lift the Tigers to another district win. Devers consistently hits balls over and around blockers successfully on the go routes. Devers made good passes and pounded balls to the lines throughout the game. Devers also made sound first touches for Bardstown.

Devers (pictured) is a sound six-position player for club and Bardstown. She angles balls off blocks well. Devers adjusts from defense to offense quickly. The righty can use her left hand to tip balls and catch opponents off-guard. Devers makes sound passes then takes sound shots from the right side. Devers has a sinking line drive serve. Devers said she’s been working on improving her leg strength to increase her vertical jump and being more aggressive and smart on the floor. Devers led Bardstown with 315 kills to go with 352 digs and 34 aces last fall.

Devers has emerged to fulfill a need on the outside for the Tigers. She makes things happen at both pins adjusting to put whatever touches are necessary to put balls down including off blockers. She has good footwork. Devers can make things happen on go routes both in and out of system.
