How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would briefly describe my gameplay style as a libero with a high IQ. My ability to read my opponents move, and my strategic thinking helps with effectively communicating with my teammates, and moreover the ability to change the pace of the game, as a leader and always being one step ahead.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality as a libero comes with a hard working mentality and always having a strong desire to win the game. I never settle to be average, and always strive to improve. The “next play” mindset not only encourages me, but my teammates as well. Having the mentality of not letting my mistakes define me has won me multiple titles throughout my middle school career, and will hopefully continue.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in being an ambassador around my school for my final year, and a member of the FCA club, which helps develop a stronger relationship with Christ. Non- sport awards I have received have been for leadership, citizenship, and having the highest grade GPA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed many skills that come from teamwork. Being a busy athlete, learning to build bonds with others, and having to adjust to different play styles. Qualities I have developed with community service is being patient, and learning new techniques everyday.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Significant challenges I have faced is holding myself accountable. Sometimes I tend to get in my head easy, and lose confidence, and notice a decrease in my energy and the ability to stay focused.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that provides a strong balance of academics and opportunities. Also, well experienced professors who have a true desire to inspire students to keep going, with a welcoming campus.
