About Addison

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a Libero with strong serve receive, court awareness, and the ability to keep the ball in system under pressure. I love to play fast and smart to keep the other side guessing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am focused, coachable, and competitive. I love to see high effort - we are all in this together!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a student-athlete maintaining a 3.8 GPA while competing in club and high school volleyball year round at a high level (open division / D1). I also compete in beach volleyball for my high school and have fun playing in beach tournaments in the summer.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed into a strong communicator and reliable teammate. I like to lead by effort, consistency, and accountability. My mental toughness is also one of my greatest qualities.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have been balancing year-round volleyball with academics for several years and it has strengthened my time management, discipline, and mental toughness. As the only freshman who made the Varsity team, it pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me a better communicator and teammate.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that values both academics and athletics. I want to find a long-term fit where I can develop as a player while pursuing a degree in business or entrepreneurship. It's important to me that I find a competitive volleyball program and a positive team culture because I'd like to make one school my home.
