Palmer (pictured) is so precise on her passes that teams are hitting away from her, particularly on serve reception. Palmer sticks her arms out to her sides to close gaps and does what she can to form walls around balls. Palmer gave the Colonels some problems with her jump sets. She kept the Colonels out of system in that first set. Palmer said the trust is there in the back row, saying she knows the people beside her are going to get good balls up and they know she will do the same.

Palmer brings back nice experience at the libero spot for the Cardinals. Palmer steps toward balls and makes nice overhead and bump passes, keeping her body aimed at the target with a nice platform. Palmer has also displayed good range. Palmer scores quick points with a sizzling serve and is extremely energetic on the court.

Palmer emerged into the libero spot for the Cardinals in a big way in the fall. Palmer steps into balls then makes crisp passes. She keeps her hips forward for a good platform. She can move forward quickly without having to dive to make clean first touches. Palmer will only grow more during club season.
