Addison Yarbrough recognizes that power alone isn’t going to solve the problem. Against a physical block, she adjusted quickly, finding space directly over the top and forcing the opponent out of system instead of trying to hit through size.

That’s the kind of adjustment that changes how an entire rally unfolds.

Her growth this season may be showing up even more on defense. She talks about learning to “play defense first,” coming off the net sooner, and reading tips earlier, which has expanded how much she contributes before she ever gets an offensive touch.

With regionals ahead and a bid still in front of them, Addison’s faith, quick resets, and growing all-around awareness are helping her game feel increasingly complete.
