Junior Addy Gosselin Addy Gosselin 5'8" | S/RS Lanier | 2028 State GA has 666 assists on the latest statewide leaderboard, good for fifth in Georgia, and she has also been Lanier’s leading server in the team’s posted statistics. MaxPreps.com

What makes Addy interesting is that she doesn’t play setter as a passive position. Her right-side background gives her comfort at the net and a better understanding of what attacking rhythm feels like. She can also create pressure from behind the line, which gives Lanier a chance to score without needing the offense to develop perfectly.

For Addy, the next-level question is control. Can she consistently change tempo without changing location quality? Can she recognize when a hitter needs a faster ball and when that same hitter needs something simpler after an error? Junior setters become increasingly interesting when their value shifts from delivering the offense to managing it. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Addy quietly assembled one of Georgia’s most complete sophomore stat lines. She directed Lanier’s offense with 540 assists while adding 229 digs, 123 kills and a team-high 61 aces. Those numbers reflect a setter who influenced nearly every phase of the match rather than disappearing after the second contact.

With experienced seniors departing, Addy has an opportunity to become the defining voice of Lanier’s next lineup. She will be responsible for building connections with returning and emerging attackers, maintaining confidence when first contact breaks down and deciding when to create offense herself. Her next season could show how quickly a skilled setter can turn individual versatility into team identity. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Addy has built a strong foundation throughout the club season through consistent effort and continued development. She has shown the ability to score points while also contributing in other phases of the game. Her all-around growth over the course of the spring has been noticeable and has helped her team compete against strong opposition. AAU Nationals presents another opportunity for Addy to continue that upward trajectory. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga
