Adina Depagter has been part of an exciting upstart in the Appleton East volleyball season.  The sophomore saw time as a freshman and has returned averaging 2.2 kills per set good for over 150 this season.  The Patriots are currently 16-11 and 4-4 in their conference where it will be interesting to see where they fall in their section which is wide open in Northeast Wisconsin.

Adina stood out with her ability to create great angles and elevate above the net with ease. She jumps extremely well and plays with a natural platform that makes her a threat in multiple phases of the game. What makes her especially exciting is how young she is, as her athleticism and skill set point to a very high ceiling moving forward.

Adina was a powerhouse pin for Appleton East at the Sizzle. She is explosive in her approach and impactful on both pins. Adina is a versatile athlete who is well-rounded and powerful. She is an offensive weapon with a massive amount of potential that will be a huge asset at the JV level, which could translate very well to varsity in the future.

DePagter is a fearless attacker. I was impressed with her ability to go up, take huge swings, adjust to alter her shot and approach, and learn from every swing she took. She did not back down or start playing it safe. DePagter is also dangerous from the fact that only does she take big, bold swings, but she also knows how to cover herself well and recycle the ball for additional opportunities.
