Emma Adams | Prep Dig Scout
Kaino started her prep career in the top 50 and has risen with each ranking update, now sitting at the #11 overall recruit, according to the PrepDig Oregon rankings. Unfortunately, a knee injury took her out for a majority of last club season, though she was slated to play for Idaho One 18-1 Elite. However, after an impressive recovery, she is back to playing as a six-rotation outside hitter for Burns. She is aggressive and fast in transition, with a big approach and a quick arm to finish it off.
Kaino is currently not committed to a collegiate program.

Her ability to pound the ball at a multitude of different angles is impressive to watch. Unfortunately, Kaino will not be able to play this club season due to a knee injury, but she was previously slated to play for Idaho One. Kaino is a standout middle blocker for the Hilanders, and luckily for her team, Kaino still has two years left to play. After notching an amazing 324 kills and 132 blocks for the season, Kaino was named to the 3A Eastern Oregon all-league first team and the all-state first team. She was the most dominant attacker for the Hilanders during their State championship match last fall. With her formidable play both offensively and defensively, Kaino is one to watch over the next couple years.
