We have to keep tabs on Nebraska ONE 15 Black’s signal-caller. McCarter has been on our must-see list since her club team first appeared at this year’s early tournaments. The Adams Central setter guides the 15 Black offense with tremendous precision and pace, allowing her pin hitters to exploit split-block windows at the pins. Nebraska ONE also knows how to train its setters to play exceptional right-back defense, and McCarter has embraced that gritty mindset.

Nebraska ONE 15 Black gets another one. This squad got a shoutout in our pin hitter feature, and McCarter will maintain that spotlight at the setter spot. Her fluid, consistent delivery made an instant impression during our early-season visits to Great Plains venues. That excellence persisted as McCarter and 15 Black broke into the final round of February’s ASICS Presidents’ Day Classic. Unfinished business remains this spring, but we’re already excited to see McCarter’s future output on the rural scene with Adams Central.
