💡 Game You’re Proud Of
“The part of my game I’m most proud of is my growth as an all-around player and the impact I have in every rotation. When I’m setting from the back row, I consistently deliver hittable balls, run an effective offense, and make high-IQ decisions that my hitters trust. I’m comfortable setting both in and out of system and take pride in putting my teammates in the best position to succeed.
When I rotate to the front row, I’m a physical right-side attacker who can score in transition and out of system. I’ve developed strong attacking skills and bring confidence and competitiveness at the net. Along with my offensive contributions, I’ve grown into a solid defensive player with good court awareness and quick transitions. Overall, my versatility, consistency, and intensity allow me to stand out on the court.”

“Being featured on PrepDig CA was a huge honor and validation of the hard work I’ve put into my volleyball journey. It reminded me that dedication, consistency, and pushing myself every day don’t go unnoticed, and it motivated me to keep improving both on and off the court.
Sharing the post on social media has been a way to celebrate my growth, show my love for the game, and inspire my teammates and friends. It reminds me to stay focused, keep challenging myself, and enjoy every part of my volleyball journey.”
🧠 What Coaches Should Know
“I’m a hardworking and versatile player who loves to grow on and off the court. I’ve developed as both a setter and a hitter, and I take pride in supporting my teammates and helping younger players learn the game. I’m grateful for all the coaches who have dedicated their time to developing me, and I strive to carry forward what I’ve learned through my own effort and leadership. While volleyball is my passion, I bring energy, focus, and determination to everything I do. I embrace feedback and challenges, using them to improve, and I maintain a 1% growth mindset…always looking to get better and set higher goals. I also focus off the court on speed, agility, and strength training to become a more dynamic and resilient player.”

, a setter from Trinity Pacific Christian, is working on a quicker release with strong wrist action and better use of her legs and arms to give her hitters more tempo and power, while also taking pride in being a defensive setter who can hold her own in the back row. She came to the SoCal UpNext Showcase eager to connect, excited “to get to meet and play with other talented girls from Southern California, and learn from their game.” Her mindset this season is to control the controllable, move on quickly from one play to the next, and keep her energy positive while becoming a more vocal leader. Known for her effort and dedication, she strives to get 1% better each day while always being a supportive teammate. Inspired by her aunt, a former Division I and professional setter, Alessandra carries that family legacy with her, and when she is not indoors, she can often be found on the beach continuing to sharpen her skills in the sand. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247
