About Alexa

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is adaptable and team oriented. I adjust to my hitters requests, strive to run an efficient offense, and bring consistent positive energy to support my teammates through every point, whether it's on the court or off the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I stay calm under pressure, communicate well, and focus on making smart decisions. I bring positive energy to the court and work hard to support my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

None at this time.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through volleyball, I have developed leadership, communication, teamwork, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. As a setter, I work closely with my teammates, adjust to different situations, and help maintain positive energy on the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I faced was being on a team where there were interpersonal conflicts and I sometimes felt excluded by teammates. I learned to stay focused on the team’s goals, maintain a positive attitude, and continue working hard regardless of the situation. This experience helped me develop resilience, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively with different personalities.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that offers strong academics, a supportive team culture, and opportunities to grow both as a student and an athlete. I value a positive environment where I can contribute to the team, continue developing my volleyball skills, and prepare for a potential future career.
