Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I strive to be the leader of the court. As the setter, I run the offense so it is important for me to be consistent and be able to communicate well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have mentally matured, meaning that I am persistent in succeeding, and I will let the mistakes roll off in order to focus on the next play and lead my team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in various clubs at my school, and express my leadership by being a student ambassador and a part of the prestigious National Honor Society.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my career, I have become more of a leader. This skill was demanded of me as I started varsity my sophomore year, and was challenged to step up and run the offense. I have developed advantageous communication skills, and have the ability to work as a team. Outside of volleyball, I partake in vast service opportunities such as working at community events and the local food pantry.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I experienced an injury to my head, which put me out of season for over 2 months. I was challenged to fight through the healing process, and get strong enough to play again. I was determined to fight and get back to playing the sport I love. I pushed myself and now get to play again which has been the hardest but most rewarding feeling.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to colleges where I can continue playing the sport I love.
