I ended up seeing Ricke’s Impact team compete a lot during the club campaign. Her versatility as a volleyballer stood out as a key asset. Ricke does a great job running the show when lining up at setter. She can perform all the important tasks as that position and takes on the necessary leadership role, which includes key communication. As an added bonus, Ricke can contribute to the attack with a strong swing at the pins. Her skill set demands opponents’ attention at all times. Through Johnston’s first 73 sets of 2025, Ricke had handed out 581 assists with 130 digs, 22 kills and 14.0 blocks. She’s athletic and moves well, her height and long arms also helping her get the job done.
