Toft, who was slowed by injury during the most recent club campaign, has made up for lost time during her senior year. The mighty middle hitter heading to Kansas State has a great feel for the game and how to impact matches from the middle of the net. That’s attainable thanks to a whole lot of natural ability. Toft is agile and athletic while also bringing physicality to the court. She can power through blocks or work around them with quickness. Toft is an obstacle for opposing attacks with long arms, leaping ability and keen timing.

The top-ranked middle in Iowa’s 2027 class, Allison Toft Allison Toft 6'2" | MB/OH Durant | 2027 State IA brings serious power and presence to the net. Committed to Kansas State, Toft is a force both offensively and defensively—terminating quick attacks with authority while shutting down hitters with her blocking range. Her explosiveness and ability to change the momentum of a match make her one of the most dominant middles in the Midwest.

I watched Toft play last weekend and it is not shocking as to why she is the #1 overall ranked middle in Iowa. Playing up a division, I watched her completely destroy 17s teams in the 17open division of LOVB Fest. She is the trifecta of middles. She has the height, speed, and power that you are looking for in an amazing middle. I think her biggest problem on June 15 is going to be deciding which call to answer first.
