The first thing you notice about Alyssa Jackson Alyssa Jackson 5'11" | OH/RS Rock Hillschoo | 2030 TX is the height. The second thing you notice is that she knows how to use it. Her approach at the Dallas Freshman Showcase generated a contact point that gave the defense very few good answers and she found angles over the block that changed how the other team had to set up their coverage as the scrimmage went on. She passed well enough to stay on the floor in all six rotations without the coaches on the sideline ever having to think twice about it. The competitive edge she brought to the day was steady and genuine and she never let a tough moment carry into the next rally. Rock Hill is still a young program finding its footing in a competitive area of North Texas and players like Jackson are exactly how that changes.
