, a Class of 2028 middle blocker from Klein Oak High School and Texas Legacy Volleyball Club, is a front row prospect whose 5’11” frame and developing net game make her a player worth evaluating closely as her career continues to build momentum at the high school level. She plays with the kind of physicality and intent at the net that tells you the competitive drive is genuine, pressing over and challenging hitters rather than simply occupying the blocking seam and hoping the ball finds her hands. Her blocking reads are developing in a positive direction and she stays laterally active through the system rather than functioning as a one-swing-per-set piece, which is a maturity indicator that shows up clearly on film. Amiya is a 2028 middle from the Houston area with upside and a competitive environment that is accelerating her development in ways that will pay off when college evaluators start paying serious attention to her class. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our Official Watch List.

She plays at a completely different speed than most middles. From her approach to her arm swing, everything is fast, clean, and efficient. It genuinely feels like she is moving in 2x speed. She gets off the ground quickly and is already in the air before blockers are fully set, which makes her extremely difficult to match up with. Opposing middles and pin blockers struggle to establish a solid block because she is consistently beating them to the point of contact.
Offensively, she is explosive and decisive. She does not hesitate, and that confidence shows in her ability to terminate at a high rate. Her quickness in transition also allows her to stay available as an option, which keeps defenses honest and opens up the offense around her. She is not just fast, she is efficient with her movement and timing.
At the net, her physical tools take over. The combination of her length, height, and vertical allows her to get well over the net on both her attack and her block. Defensively, she takes away space in a way that forces hitters to adjust mid-swing. She closes blocks effectively and has the ability to shut down high-level attackers. She is a true difference-maker in the middle and impacts the game on both sides of the ball.

Bryant with play for Texas Legacy 15 Elite in the event’s 15 Open division. She’s extremely dynamic, moves very well and works very hard at the net to contribute on both sides of the ball. Bryant is very quick in her approach and hits the ball right off the hands of her setter, which forces opposing blockers who want to stop her to commit very early. Her right arm is very quick too, which gives her the ability to change plans at the very last second and find a way around opponents at the net. Bryant also makes an impact with her blocking, getting very high up at the net and playing aggressively with her arms to take up space from opposing hitters.
