Ana won a top performer award in our August Showcase. She also played libero for the state champion Richard Montgomery Rockets, her second state championship in two years. At 5’7″ she doesn’t bring the height of her sister, but she has other attributes in her favor.
Her biggest attribute is her tenacious defense in the back row. She led the Rockets in digs which placed her as our number two ranked libero in the class of 2027. She communicates well, scores points with her jump serve and provides the back row play you want to see from your libero if you hope to win state or any other kind of championships. Definitely, a player to keep an eye on, especially if you want to develop a solid back row.

While her older sister gets all the attention with the MVP garnishments Ana laboriously fills the underappreciated libero role. At 5’7″ she lacks the height of her sister but the love of the game still exists.
Like she does during the season she led the team in digs. She shares libero time with senior Bella Brennan but when it comes to playoff time Ana gets the call for the libero spot.
At the Prep Dig showcase she earned a top performer award. She also made the all tournament team,.

. Last year she played defensive specialist as the Rockets won their first state championship. This year she will take over for the graduating Casey Bradley at the libero position. Her older sister Ema sets and plays right side. Ana is perfectly content to cover the back row. And she does it well.
She still brings a tough serve to the court, but instead of just playing back row for three rotations the Rockets will have her for six. One of the top liberos in the DMV area.

Her frosh year she played defensive specialist for Richard Montgomery. Richard Montgomery won the Maryland Class 4 state championship. She scores a lot of points with her jump serve, which darts and dances with the best of serves. Her sister stands 6’0″ and hits right side and sets for the Rockets. Ana has grown two inches since her frosh season soaring to 5’7″. She may not catch up with her sister’s height, but she is getting close. Next year Ana should fill the libero role for the Rockets. Ana plays libero for MVSA. They will be playing in the National Division in the Junior Nationals in Las Vegas. A little growth for Ana at the libero position gives her more coverage on the deep balls.

Ana is not really a new addition. She somehow dropped off our rankings. A potential dynamite libero who played defensive specialist for Richard Montgomery and helped the Rockets win a state championship. Brings a strong serve to the court. Her older sister is 6’0″ and hits outside. Unless Ana achieves a growth spurt the libero position is hers. Ana slots in at 16 in our class of 2027.
