Ana is not really a new addition. She somehow dropped off our rankings. A potential dynamite libero who played defensive specialist for Richard Montgomery and helped the Rockets win a state championship. Brings a strong serve to the court. Her older sister is 6’0″ and hits outside. Unless Ana achieves a growth spurt the libero position is hers. Ana slots in at 16 in our class of 2027.
Highlights
Blake Crawford Blake Crawford 5'7" | OH Atlee | 2027 State VA OH (Atlee) – Blake brings a strong left handed swing that gives her the versatility to hit either left or right side. When I watched her play she was hitting left side. Blake earned a spot on the second team all Region, the only frosh to make it on an All Region team.
Olivia hit a strong right side for West Potomac. One of the go to players when the Wolverines needed a point. She normally rotated out for the setter so I did not see her back row play. She will be playing for Metro this yaer

Danika Swanson Danika Swanson 5'9" | S Patriot | 2027 State VA setter (Patriot/American) – Danika ran a 5/1 towards the end of the season for Patriot. She earned a spot on the Cedar Run District second team. Danika slots in at number 19 but ranks as our third ranked setter in the class of 2027.
As a frosh she had to take over for a setter Madison Koeller, who won player of the year honors in the Northwestern District. She handled the pressure well with stellar play earning her a spot on the Northwestern District first team. She also earned a second team selection for the Class 4d all regional team. Paisley was one of four frosh to earn a spot on the Pioneer roster. They went on to finish 17-4 for the season, which bodes well for their future.

I got to see her play at the clash of the Titans. She played a tremendous defense and set a 5/1. The Generals carried two frosh on their roster who played critical roles in their season. Left side Evelyn Donovan Evelyn Donovan OH Washington Liberty | 2027 State VA was a recipient of many of Kathryn’s sets. With those two the Generals have a bright future.
Late in the season Holy Cross called on Kate to be their libero,. She suited up in the different colored jersey in the Tartans championship match against Bishop O’Connell and played the position like a veteran. Despite all the pressure she handled herself well, playing a solid back row on defense and in passing to help bring the WCAC championship back to Holy Cross.

At 5’11” Erin brings decent height to the right side. She will be playing for a strong Paramount team. As she develops with experience and growth she could be a force on the right side.
