For Anieya, Juneteenth is a powerful celebration of freedom, opportunity, and the progress made throughout history.

She is grateful for the opportunities she has today, from pursuing an education to competing in the sport she loves. Anieya’s biggest inspiration is her mother, whose positivity and kindness have left a lasting impact on her.

Anieya admires the way her mother treats everyone with respect and believes the world would be a better place if more people followed that example. Looking ahead, she hopes to continue competing at a high level in volleyball while attending a college with strong academic opportunities. Beyond athletics, she plans to pursue a career in the medical field, with interests in NICU or pediatric care.

Aneiya showcased her versatility as a six-rotation outside hitter with standout backrow passing skills. While she’s known for her hitting and a ver impressive serve, this time I got a great look at her passing—and she definitely delivered. Aneiya is a dedicated volleyball player, constantly working on her craft to become the best player she can be. For starters, her serve has developed into one of the best in her class and will earn her a TON of aces throughout her volleyball career. McCullough competed on varsity this season, earning her letterman as a freshman and a prestigious honorable mention award among a lot of talent in the 3A division. She can do it all on the court and earned a well-deserved Offensive MVP award for her school.
