For La’Vhea, Juneteenth is a time for gratitude, reflection, and inspiration.

She appreciates the sacrifices of those who paved the way before her and uses that perspective as motivation to work hard and make a positive impact. La’Vhea credits her mother as her greatest inspiration, admiring her determination and ability to overcome any challenge.

Inspired by that example, La’Vhea hopes to play college volleyball while studying business. Her long-term goal is to open her own athletic center for future athletes, helping others pursue their dreams while carrying forward the same unstoppable mindset her mother instilled in her.
