About Annabelle
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Composure defines my game. High-IQ Libero/DS with strong defensive range, consistent ball control, and elite court awareness. Team-first competitor who thrives under pressure and leads through communication, hustle, and energy. Dependable passer and defender with a targeted float serve and a commitment to making the next play.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Competitive, coachable, and driven to improve every day. I enjoy being challenged and take pride in leading by example through effort, positivity, and consistency. Whether in practice, competition, or the classroom, I strive to bring energy, composure, and a team-first attitude to everything I do.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Recipient of the Sister Dorothy Stang Scholarship for the incoming Class of 2030 at Mt. Notre Dame, awarded to a student who exemplifies leadership, character, service, and faith. Active in 4-H since age 9 and a multi-sport athlete who also competes in high school basketball.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Through volleyball, basketball, 4-H, and community service, I have developed leadership, accountability, and time-management skills. I completed more than 60 service hours this year, including helping lead youth volleyball and softball camps and training sessions. These experiences have taught me the importance of serving others, working hard, and contributing to a team greater than myself.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Balancing competitive sports, academics, leadership responsibilities, and service commitments has taught me discipline, resilience, and how to perform under pressure. Learning to manage multiple commitments while continuing to grow as an athlete, student, and leader has been one of my greatest challenges and opportunities for growth.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for an academically strong school where I can grow into the best student-athlete possible. I would like to stay within 4–5 hours from home and be part of a value-based, disciplined, and competitive volleyball program with strong team culture, school pride, loyalty, and long-term commitment from players and coaches.
