Recent notes on Hubbard have expressed the increased value and impact she continues to make through the club season following a stellar season with MND last fall as she earned 1st team all-league honors in the GGCL. She led the conference in total assists as the only setter to surpass the 900 assists mark with 909. Defensively, she added 27 blocks and a career best 265 digs. This cycle of success vaults her into the top 10 as the second prospect in this group committed to Miami (OH).

Hubbard was a key catalyst in MND’s big win over SUA as she dished 52 assists for a 10.4 assists per set. This was accompanied by six kills and 19 digs. The Miami (OH) commit is one of the most complete players in this 2027 class and a big reason why MND has upgraded their competitive and success this season as she has improved the overall quality of her play and efficiency in her effort while having some quality pieces around her that help her to perform at such a high level. Just shy of the top spot in the GGCL for total assists, Hubbard is top 15 or top 20 in multiple statistical categories. MND improved to 3-1 in league play and 8-3 overall. Looming just ahead is a much anticipated match up with league leader Seton.

Hubbard returns to Mount Notre Dame in the GGCL as a key contributor with veteran experience and an all-Ohio 2nd team honor. Her role shifted from 2023 to 2024 as she became a key two-way player in earning 190 kills and 258 assists. She has great tools and athleticism to be successful in a variety of areas and MND has needed her presence in these roles to be competitive in the GGCL and across the state. Her best attribute is in her setting and likely will play this role when she arrives at Miami University for her college-level ball.

This class has a really good crop of setters, some with good two-way skills. Hubbard is the best through this recent rankings cycle. She had a great high school season for Mount Notre Dame as she was the only non-junior or senior to be selected DII all-Ohio as a 2nd team selection. Top 15 offensively in the league at 2.3 k/s, Hubbard also earned over three assists per set in sharing the setting role. As the primary floor leader for Elevation ‘s top 16U team, she will once again control an offense that has all the pieces to be an elite competitor nationally and it starts with Hubbard’s skills and leadership.

Hubbard is a versatile athlete and the Cougars will do what they can to take advantage of it. She sets up hitters nicely with jump sets and rises high in the air to smack down balls. Hubbard will continue to improve as the season progresses.

Hubbard brings a dynamic skill set to the table primarily at setter. She knows her hitters well and sets them at many different angles so they can put the ball down. Hubbard can do cross court and back sets throwing a lot at opposing defenses. Hubbard can also go in the air and tip balls the other way for setter dumps.
