Roberson came all the way from New Orleans to take part in the event and was among the most intriguing right side hitters on the court. I had watched her in a club tournament last season and wasn’t surprised by many of the great things she did, but she still got to show new tricks, such as her ability to play middle. A very long and athletic lefty, she did a great job on both sides of the ball, scoring at a good clip and getting blocks fairly often. Being from Louisiana, she probably didn’t know many of the players she got to share the court with, but integrated in a great way, communicating well and cheering on them.
