Laffond is an outside with a heavy arm and the ability to score quickly. She uses her height and vertical well, getting on top of the ball and delivering attacks that can leave opponents stunned. Over the last two years with Vital, she has really expanded her all around game. She has become a reliable defender, is comfortable attacking the bic, and does a nice job at the net with a solid block. Her growth in every aspect of the game has made her much more than just a big hitter and makes her that cherished 6 rotation hitter that coaches covet.
