Mike Graham | Prep Dig Scout
At the beginning of her sophomore year, a West Jessamine assistant challenged Crutcher and the other hitters to go up with a purpose. Crutcher does that and a whole lot more signified by her team-high 527 kills on a balanced team this past fall. She takes advantage of many one-on-one opportunities in the middle and outside for both club and high school ball. Similar to Miller, she is not afraid to crack jokes off the court to keep her teammates loose.

It is hard not to notice Crutcher in the front row. She is a dominat force to be reckoned with. Crutcher (pictured) gives herself great space at the net and lets balls rip. She mixes in soft taps to the 10-foot line to throw off defenders. Crutcher has solid timing on her blocks and her athleticism helps her win jousts. Crutcher is also a sound passer and server. Crutcher had 527 kills, 46 blocks, 87 digs and 35 aces in the fall, helping West Jessamine go 28-12, win another 46th District crown and the 12th Region for the ninth time in 10 years to make it back to the state tournament.

is a force as a OH. She has a powerful swing which she can place right down the line to rack up those kills, which she does often! She has excellent form and timing when getting up for the block with good vertical shown and good reach to win a joust. She moves readily into position giving herself plenty of room for a healthy attack, which she can get on top of and hit down with force! Her setter calls for her often and she delivers either deep or short and can fool the opposition tipping in the donut! We loved her play! She has the goods!

Crutcher is going to be a consistent force in the middle once she gets the timing down with Marsh. Crutcher showed she can put a lot of power into the ball, especially from the strong left side. She also has good timing on her blocks to control the net well.
