Please officially welcome Miss Proctor to the State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the 6^th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays volleyball for Coronado High School and also plays for the Wave volleyball club.  There are attackers who can hit hard but then there are those left sides who can destroy the ball with ferocity.  That is exactly who Ashlynn is.  The ball pretty much disappears from view when she attacks with her explosive arm.  I almost feel sorry for the ball when she makes contact.  What I love about her attacking skills the most is when the ball is set inside and she uses her awesome footwork and depth perception to move inside and still have the time to swing hard for the kill.  This is not as easy as she makes it look.  She is the type of left side attacker who you can run a “swing offensive system” with in order to create some mismatches against opposing blockers.  Her serve receive is just as spectacular as every other aspect of her play.  If you have not seen her perform yet, I strongly suggest you give her a look because she will develop into a game changer over the next few years.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings.
