About Aubrey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I take pride in my defensive abilities. Being a smaller setter has pushed me to excel in anticipation, positioning, and hustle, skills that allow me to make a significant impact defensively. I bring a loud and passionate energy to the court, constantly cheering on my teammates and celebrating their successes. I believe that my vocal presence and unwavering support can uplift the team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a highly competitive player with a strong mentality, always striving to improve and push my limits. My personality is characterized by my enthusiasm and passion, especially when it comes to supporting my teammates. I believe in lifting others up and fostering a positive, energetic environment on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Pickle ball club at Corona del sol, junior referee for USA volleyball, honorable mention for best ceramic piece.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead by example, guiding my teammates on and off the court. Teamwork is my priority, fostering open communication and mutual support to achieve our goals. I've also formed strong friendships with my teammates, creating a bond that goes beyond the game. While community service isn't my main focus now, I'm eager to get more involved in the future.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Losing my brother at 12 was a huge challenge, but I've overcome it. That experience taught me a lot about life and resilience, and I carry those lessons with me.

What type of college are you looking for?

The goal is to play division one volleyball, but if that’s not the right path, there’s always division two. I’m also looking forward to continue studying the body about kinesiology and getting my bachelor of science.
