Amy VanGuilder | Prep Dig Scout
Marquette is a solid pin with a huge bag of tricks offensively. She can turn the ball down the line, tool the block, attack the seam, or mix in a well placed tip or roll shot when needed. She reads the defense well and has the ability to adjust her attack based on what is in front of her, making her difficult to defend. Marquette’s impact doesn’t stop at the net. She hustles defensively, puts up a solid block, and plays strong off blocker defense. Her versatility and ability to contribute in so many different ways make her a valuable player.

Kennedy Marquette separates herself through aggressive transition play. Her first step off defense is immediate, and she creates a tempo advantage by beating blockers to the pin. Marquette attacks seams with conviction and maintains balance even when the set pulls her off the net.
She also competes with visible edge while staying structurally sound. Her serve-receive platform remains steady, and she resets quickly after errors. Kennedy’s ability to bring intensity without compromising execution is why she continues to trend upward in this class. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

Marquette is a hard working, smart outside hitter that is a go-to player for her team. She is solid on serve receive, transitions quickly, and has good footwork to get herself into position. What I liked most about Marquette is her shot selection. She knows when to big rips and also when placement is needed.
