Every Power ‘] team needs its show-stopping libero. It’s a theme most people recognize, whether they’re from the Heart of America Region or a Nebraska outsider, like me. Beal fills that niche for Power ‘] 15-1 and does a lot more than absorb heat as a defender. She was also a reliable secondary setter at last weekend’s and kept her pin hitters in a good rhythm. This all-around influence lifted Power ‘] 15-1 to four consecutive victories to open the tournament, and the best is yet to come for Beal’s group.
