Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
KC Power 15-1 has arguably been the Heart of America Region’s top contender in this age group. This distinction requires some remarkable consistency and leadership at the setter position, and McGuire has always been there to provide it. She fits the mold of so many other springy, athletic setters we’ve watched in the Kansas City area. McGuire piloted her snappy, pin-to-pin offense to an MEQ championship and a top-five finish at Show Me. Her gunslinging style will be ideal while competing in a notoriously unpredictable 15 Open race.

This Power ‘] team is special, and I walked away highly impressed with the play of McGuire. From the opening pass and the backset she delivered, I could tell she’s legit. She moves very well and does a good job of getting her feet under her to make the set. She is a baller.

Once again, we find a Power ‘] setter with the range and versatility to excel in various lineups. McGuire is a natural leader in Zone 1 and has tremendous defensive touch to accompany her setting. Her pin-to-pin distribution was a highlight of the Premier Nebraska MLK Invite, as McGuire opened up huge lanes for her attackers to exploit. This led to several highlight-worthy swings and a wave of momentum for the visiting squad. Look for McGuire to take that skill on the road throughout 2026.
