Coming into her senior season, Beasley has put up some incredible career numbers despite a shortened sophomore campaign: 1,124 kills, 5.3 kills per set, 88 aces, 837 digs, 389 assists, and 75 blocks. That’s one well-rounded performer.

This isn’t a career award, though. It’s about what happens this season. If Ava can lead the Rams to the top of a difficult 5A East and make a deep playoff run, she will be right in the middle of the Player of the Year conversation.

Her ability to impact every part of the game makes her as valuable as just about anyone in the state. Beasley is lethal on the attack, relentless in the back row, a killer behind the service line, and an incredible leader for Paragould. She’s already proven what she can do. Now she gets one final season to put an exclamation point on it.

Hard to watch Paragould and not talk about Ava. This was my first time to see her in person and she did not disappoint. Ava is a complete player that works hard to make everyone around her better.

The number 2 player in the state for 2027, Beasley combines the size and agility that will translate well when she heads to North Alabama next fall. But this fall she appears focused to get the Rams to the top of the 5A East. Ava is a talented pin who makes great contact with the ball and beats defenders with a number of different shots. She also has the ability to set and is an accomplished back row player with a great platform. She led Paragould in just about every stat last season but the Rams have a lot of playmakers back from last year that will make them more that a one dimensional team.

Rehkopf’s future teammate in college, Ava Beasley Ava Beasley 5'11" | OH/DS/L Paragould | 2027 State AR is one of the most dynamic six-rotation players in Arkansas. Producing more than 5 kills per set while racking up 395 digs and 59 assists. The four-year starter looks to cap off an amazing career at Paragould that has seen her start as a freshman setter/RS(racking up 296 assists and 452 kills) to sophomore season cut short just playing 18 sets to roaring back as an outside in 2025. She also totaled 54 blocks last season for the Rams. Look for her to expand on her impressive numbers again this season.

Despite missing much of her sophomore season due to injury, Beasley has already totaled 1,124 career kills, including 569 as a junior and 452 as a freshman, while still adding 103 kills in her shortened sophomore year. She has also recorded 837 digs, 389 assists, and 88 aces, maintaining a .255 hitting percentage, and remains one of the most productive all-around attackers in the Class of 2027.
