Berry is leading the charge for her Central Region United 17 Max team. The squad had a compact playing schedule, focusing in on the qualifiers in late March and April. CRU Max 17 had excellent finishes, ultimately earning a bid to Nationals with a 2nd place finish in the USA Division at PNQ. Berry plays a 5-1, and sets up her attackers in great positions by being a threat to score herself and locating a hittable ball to either pin.

Berry was impressive defensively out of the setter position at the Expo. Coaches highlighted her ability to cover tips and off-speed shots and her overall footspeed and range. The Wenatchee junior stayed dynamic in her setting, consistently utilizing a jump set to keep the defense honest and the tempo high. It was a tough trip over the pass for our Central Washington athletes, we appreciate all of them making the trip!

Berry* is currently the 5th ranked setter in the 2025 Prep Dig Rankings, and just led Wenatchee to the 4A State Championship. The ace beach athlete plays gritty defense, makes great decisions for her attackers and plays much bigger than her listed height at the net. Berry consistently wins jousts and scores on blocks against taller opponents- her will to win is ferocious.

Berry ran the Panthers offense to the hilt at the Sun Dome, and the Wenatchee setter displayed the fire and leadership needed from a championship level player. Fearless at the net, Berry challenged taller players on jousts and attacks, winning points and keeping her team’s energy high. Her defense and movement is top tier and she found her hitters in favorable matchups all over the court. She is one of the state’s ranked players at the setter position and continues to deliver wins for both her school and club teams.

Berry is an athletic powerhouse, who plays much bigger than her listed size. Wenatchee is poised for a tremendous season, and the former libero will be relied upon to quarterback the team on the court. Watching her play during club and this summer, you would think she never played anything but the setter spot, until she pulls out a crazy dig chasing down a ball no on has any business getting to. Berry has the strength to push the ball to the pin from tough positions and angles on the court, giving her hitters every opportunity to score.
