Expert Analysis
Jesse Etter | Prep Dig Scout
Stuber was a powerful force from the right side and as a back row opposite attacker for NCWVBC 18 as they took home the 17/18 Open Championship in Phoenix. The Wenatchee senior looked very comfortable in a position different from her high school days, and her blocking experience in the middle carried over nicely to the right side. WWU will appreciate her quick and strong arm swing; Stuber can rip it and knows how to score.

Stuber plays with emotion and keeps her Wenatchee squad fired up. The Panthers can run other teams out of the gym with their play, energy, passionate fans, and, if all else fails, the most complete lineup of pre-set handshakes in the state. All handshake routines aside, Stuber is quick and powerful to the ball and knows how to find a seam in the block to put down a kill. She is a relentless worker as a blocker and helped Wenatchee rack up another championship over the weekend.

The junior from Wenatchee has been a difference maker working the middle for the Panthers, a 4A team that has the ability to make a big run at state. The junior class has been working towards a huge season since hitting the varsity squad as freshman, and Stuber’s connection with fellow 2025 Ava Jo Berry is a key to their offensive success. She runs a variety or routes, with her ability to attack off one foot on the slide giving the team a dynamic option out of the 5-1. Like all of the team, Stuber impresses with her hustle, energy and willingness to get on the floor to keep a ball alive, even form the middle blocker position.

The 5’9 first-team all-league player from Wenatchee has no issue competing at a high level with players who may have a few inches in size on her. Stuber is quick and skilled and has a great ability to move the ball around the block and find the open court to score. She is part of a strong Wenatchee and Kahiau sophomore trio that includes

A physical, hard-working middle, Stuber is continuing to improve after a breakout sophomore season for Wenatchee. She will read the set and quickly work to close the block, and offensively she is running hard to the pin and scoring on the slide. She has a good press and works effectively with her pin attackers to put up a solid wall. Stuber is an offensive minded middle who works hard in transition to stay available.
